The Beatles "Let It Be” was released in 1980 and was the 12th and final album by the greatest band in history: The Beatles. The name famously is attributed to Paul McCartney in reference to the broken up band, responding to the question asked about the chances of getting back together. Paul simply commented, philosophically: "let it be." The album also was the soundtrack for the 1970 motion picture of the same name. Important Beatles history in this wonderful album, plus great songs and excellent same-time signatures.
